This blog is here for you, the friends and family of Nelson. To enjoy him and to celebrate him. I am sure you will all agree, that he was one of a kind. He truly was one of the *good guys*, wasn't he. We all miss him dearly. So this was created for all of us to communicate our stories, to share our comments and most of all our love. Happy Father's Day. We miss you.
How very nice of you to share these wonderful pictures and memories with us who miss him so very much. We are forever grateful of the little time he spent with us on this earth. There is not a plane that flies by without thinking "Is that you flying by Nelson!" We still talk about our little trips to Manitoulin Island, fishing on Wolseley Bay, the many board games, and the laughs. We laugh so much our jaws hurt. He had such a keen and sharp mind, always there with the punch line. But he needed "good old Ghis" for his comedy routine. I always thought they were more the George & Gracie Burns comedy act.
this was taken in the shack on his b/day Aug.2001, the year before he died...he was serenading his friend Charlie. 12 of his airport friends came over to celebrate never really having seen him clowning around this way...they never laughed so much. I've always been so thankful of having had that day for them all.
Hey there. So if you're wondering what to do let me explain it for you. The easiest way to post a comment is to do the following. 1) Click on the word *comment* below the picture. The comment box will open where you will type your message. **Remember to sign your name at the end of your message. You'll see why in the next step. 2) From the pull down box below, choose *Anonymous* since you probably won't have a blog of your own. 3) Then chose *post comment*. You should be prompted to enter in some letters. Do this carefully. This helps to stop spam from coming in. 4) Your post should be there. This is for all of us to hear from each other, just what he meant to you. If you have any questions please email me at halfmydream@hotmail.com and I will be sure to get back to you. Thank you for being a part of his life. I am sure each and every one of us, is still in his heart. Sue.

I wish I met Marc earlier so I could have met Nelson.
